I would disagree. I think they come out with more skills than that. They learn leadership skills.

David P. Roe is a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Vermont's 1st congressional district from January 4, 2005, to January 3, 2021. During his time in Congress, Roe was known for his focus on healthcare issues, particularly in relation to veterans and the military. He served on several committees, including the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, where he advocated for improved services for veterans and their families.
I am looking forward to hearing feedback from both the Department and VSO witnesses on three of these programs; IDES, BDD, and Quick Start.
While we can all be proud of this collective achievement to pass the Forever GI Bill, this Subcommittee's work has just begun and it is critical that we work in tandem with the VA, with veterans groups, and other stakeholders.
I urge the Secretary and this Administration to do whatever they have to do to give folks the resources...
This bill was signed into law by President Trump on August 16th, 2017. It is a great example of what Congress can do when we put the American people and, in this case, our veterans first and foremost.
I do have some concerns about the focus this process is getting from the VA senior leadership.
I think that the other question I have, the second question I have is, who decided--and I am not necessarily saying this is bad, but who decided to go with a program that has never been done with an organization that doesn't exist?
I have had the surgical nurses call me and say, Dr. Roe, do you need this, this, and this before this procedure, and we would go over that ahead of time.
One of the reasons we have such confidence in our medical system is because of our board system.
