I do not understand why my Republican friends are not jumping up and down and saying, Bernie, we are with you.

It is not acceptable to me that we end up spending over twice as much per capita on health care as other major countries around the world.

So we are spending hundreds of billions of dollars on folks who bill us and drive us crazy but do not provide any health care to us.

There is probably no issue more important to the American people than health care.
