We understand the sacrifices that you have made, many of you coming from high schools where you had interests in sports and other activities, and you gave those up to come here to Washington to pursue this. We are very much appreciative of that. You will make lifelong friendships here. My best friend today was someone who served with me as a page. I am going to see him this weekend out in California. He went on to be mayor of his town and we ended up marrying sisters, who would have thought when we were sitting here in the page school class.”
