I think this is a terribly important issue in that we understand that the bottom line is that threats undermine the peace process. It is that simple. Autonomy has to be determined through the process of negotiations. We are not talking about statehood. I applaud all of the Members who have joined in cosponsoring this resolution. I hope it will be passed unanimously by the U.S. Senate.
