I would urge you, in your conversations with the President, for him to potentially speak more respectfully of the life-risking work that so many of our intelligence community members pursue.

The IC will continue to speak truth to power, even when the power ignores that truth.

If you do not have a conversation between the two most important alliance leaders on trade, then you get into situations, very unfortunate, where we are threatening a trade war.

The smarter play for us right now is to combine forces with the EU and Japan and South Korea against China.

Yet, it is the farmers, business owners, and everyday people across my district, central Virginia's 7th district, and across the country who are hurt both by these tariffs and the retaliatory tariffs countries have imposed in response.

I am honored to serve as the vice chair of this subcommittee as we continue to reinforce our shared fundamental values of international cooperation, mutual security, and democracy.

I think that is counterproductive.

I would like to take you on a tour of quite a few of our farms, if and when you have the time.

My district is a perfect example. We are a majority suburban in population, majority rural in land mass.

Almost 30 percent of Virginians living in rural areas don't have access to fixed broadband at what is considered a minimally acceptable speed.

I am particularly concerned about what appears to be a growing disconnect between our political and intelligence leaders.

As talks proceed, I will keep fighting to prevent American communities from living under the potential threat of North Korean missiles, nuclear weapons, and cyber aggression.

I am always in favor of pursuing diplomatic negotiated solutions. However, Kim Jong-Un has repeatedly demonstrated that he cannot be trusted.

The North Korean regime continues to pose a serious security threat to the United States, our interests at home and abroad.

Do you expect any economic reverberations from Venezuela? And what is the administration doing to reduce the risk of economic damage potentially to these countries?

I am in complete agreement that a military solution, particularly on the part of the U.S., is not answer.

I can think of no better first action than one that is focused on Article 1 of the Constitution...
