I yield myself 20 seconds to correct the gross, egregious and ought to be subject to punitive damages if we have the kinds of standards we are talking about here in the Congress misstatements of what this amendment is all about. Punitive damages under this legislation are unlimited. They are not limited to $250,000. The gentleman apparently did not read the amendment. There is a base of $250,000, or twice economic damages, and economic damages are unlimited under this legislation. He said punitive damages also are limited for health insurance plans or HMOs. This amendment has no application to HMOs or health insurance plans. None.
