ICE no longer plans to detain up to 8,500 immigrants in the facilities as originally envisioned, and instead will convert the property into an ICE campus.

It is really tragic because our Nation deserves bipartisan solutions that make sense and that help our country.

I look forward to the day that this Committee actually produces good work that the American people expect us to address.
