We have courage, conviction and a little bit of defiance. And we’re here today to rally the nation. And we hope that the U.S. Senate will hear us.

Texas does a very good job of criminalizing voter -- criminalizing voting. And what we need to do is we need to make sure that we shine a bright light on it.

We have plenty of tactics and strategies that are disposable. And we will fight every single day to protect the sacred right to vote in Texas. We know what happened in Georgia. We know what happened in Florida. And if they steamroller us…

We want the Senate to hear us and we want them to act, and we need them to pass the For the People Act to preserve democracy in this country.
