The reality is that this is a backdoor way of ending all asylum claims. The asylum process is broken and needs major reform, but abolishment is un-American.
A repatriation flight is someone that does not qualify for asylum, gets put on a plane--and they don't get flown to New York or Chicago or Washington, DC, they get flown to Haiti, to El Salvador, or Guatemala.
I'm not excited about the direction that we've started - the direction that we've kind of taken, this place, this tit for tat.
What I see is, there's nothing but politicians getting up here and grandstanding.
