As of right now, today, February 14, starting with the Embassy attack in Benghazi, is there anybody anywhere that we have held or believe to be accountable for those actions, and are they in custody some place?

It is about freedom, liberty. It is not corny, it is not old-fashioned; it is just what we do in this country.

The best thing for developing countries is an unfiltered Internet.

We don't need them governing the Internet.

I think most countries are still in the middle... that should be our goal, is to promote that concept.

Freedom is kind of something we do in this country, whether it is here or somewhere else.

It seems to me that there is one thing that we do all agree on: that the Internet, as great as it is, is a tool for freedom.

What we do as a body, Congress, does make a difference, and especially other people notice what we do.

Oppressive countries want the United Nations to control the Internet. They want to control the content; they want to control the operations of the Internet.

This is a threat to liberty, American liberty, free speech, human rights, economic freedom, competence, and innovation.

The idea that the U.N. ought to be controlling the Internet, to me, is like putting the Taliban in charge of women's rights.

I would hope that the State Department would look at that protocol and try to streamline it, because people died.

Marines, the word brings fear and trepidation into the souls of many people who do not like us throughout the world.

I have total confidence in the Marines. They can solve any problem we will let them solve.

Israel responded by doing what any other responsible nation would do, it defended itself.

We have yet to see any justice in this matter.

But for 2 weeks after the attack, the administration blamed the attack on a YouTube video. That was a patently false assertion at the time.

The morning after the attack, I mentioned on the House floor that the terrorist group Ansar al Sharia claimed responsibility for the attack.

We must have accountability for the assassination of four Americans on the anniversary of 9/11, accountability for those who failed to protect the Americans and accountability for the murderers.

Terrorists are using Twitter. Twitter is a communication service. It seems like it is a violation of the law.
