So the FAA's Office of Commercial Space Transportation has licensed ten spaceports in seven states since 1996.

And politically, it's not very feasible because any given nation that has a piece of debris assigned to them, they're the sovereign owners of that piece of garbage, and so it becomes problematic to just go up and clean other people's stuff.

We believe the U.S. Government has an historic opportunity to act as an accelerator for space startups, much like President Eisenhower catalyzed the American automobile industry when he created the interstate highway system.

And then he had the presence of mind and quick wit to blame the junior Senator from Florida for enticing him to do so.

This amendment basically allows people to buy much cheaper plans to kind of opt out of the Obamacare regulations.

I think we got to get the job done, but we got to do it right. That results matter. It's not just passing a bill who's title is Obamacare repeal. We actually got to do something that fixes the problem.

Do you think the standards are appropriate for commercial balloon pilots? And what can be done to better protect the flying public?

It is the intention of this committee to go forward with legislation, seeking to create a system that incentivizes the investment and maximizes the potential for exploration in space.

I believe time and energy is better spent in continuing to interpret the Outer Space Treaty in favor of international collaboration without constraining the rights and benefits of the freedom of U.S. commercial enterprise in space.
