Sylvester Turner: I am a pretty trusting person, but the truth is the Congress did exactly what the State legislature in Nevada did that…

I am a pretty trusting person, but the truth is the Congress did exactly what the State legislature in Nevada did that had been proven through their experience was not going to work. And the same insurance company executives, the same insurance companies that testified before our committees and told our Congress that the Republican plan was not going to work told the Nevada folks that their plan was not going to work. They went ahead and did it, anyway, and then they advertised for bids, according to the article, and nobody wanted to apply. Nobody wanted to offer this prescription drug coverage by private insurance companies. It is just almost incomprehensible that the Congress of the United States would propose the same plan with the same insurance companies saying we are not going to offer it and it would pass this House.
