My legislation would expand the caregiver program to include not just serious injuries, but would also cover those who incurred or aggravated serious illnesses as well.

H.R. 3279, sponsored by Mr. Reyes of Texas, a Member of the Subcommittee, would clarify that caregivers for veterans with serious illnesses are eligible for assistance and support services provided by the VA.
