I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of section 2(d), add the following: (4) Quantifiable inflationary impact.--The term ``quantifiable inflationary impact'' means, with respect to a major Executive order, that such order is estimated to increase or decrease Consumer Price Index inflation by at least 1 percentage point over the course of a year. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 166, the gentlewoman from Texas (Ms. Jackson Lee) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from Texas.
