What a significant, enlightened presentation by Congressman Davis, if I might summarize his very broad and effective presentation and the educating of our Members. He has spoken about the collateral damage, and the collateral damage, Mr. Davis, is spreading like wildfire. You added that it is parking garages, it is the CTA or the MTA or the Metro. It is the restaurants. It is the District of Columbia that is collateral damage, a city that has to keep its doors open, but lo and behold, it is being impacted by the shutdown. Again, workers are shut out and shut down. If I might ask the Speaker how much time is remaining. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The gentlewoman has 9 minutes remaining.
