Because the idea of white nationalism, as superior to others, and white supremacy indicates that somebody else might die. This resolution is an important resolution to affirm to this Congress and this Nation that we believe that we all are created equal and, as Dr. King said, that, ``We shall overcome.'' And, some day, we shall overcome.”
