But here in the United States, there are children that go to bed hungry. There are women that do not eat properly. There are babies that do not get nourishment. In Texas alone, between 23,000 and 40,000 people are expected to be dropped from the WIC program if the funding is not restored; and each and every State in the Union is going to receive that kind of devastating impact.…”
