I believe strongly that, after prayer, energy is the most important word in the dictionary.

The Space Launch System, as the Chairman said, and Orion crew vehicle are going to enable NASA's future human deep space exploration and it is vitally important that they be continued.

I want to thank you for holding this hearing on what is probably one of the most important words in the dictionary, especially to youngsters 18 years old, high school, college graduates, and that word is energy.

Without this new launch system, the technological capability, inspiration and innovation that springs from our human spaceflight programs is going to wither.
