I hope he listens to them. But I'm terribly worried actually that he, for political purposes, is going to try to assert some sort of national security argument for extreme or emergency powers.

I think it does. I think Natasha's right. Particularly younger voters where Democrats before Kamala Harris became the nominee were really, really doing poorly.
