If he praises and defends Manafort the way he did with General Kelly for a while, then I think a lot of fair amount of people are going to say, oh he's setting him up for pardon, which even his ally Lindsey Graham, the Republican senator from South Carolina said the end of the Trump presidency if he starts pardoning these guys.
