I am going to boycott them. Any hearing I have in human rights, Amnesty is not invited, nor is Human Rights Watch.
Michael McCaul
The Public Record
Michael Thomas McCaul is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 10th congressional district since 2005. A member of the Republican Party, he has been active in various legislative efforts, particularly focusing on national security and foreign policy. McCaul has played a significant role in discussions surrounding U.S. relations with countries like Ukraine and Russia, often emphasizing the importance of NATO and the need for a strong response to aggression.
The disproportionate focus of the General Assembly and its subagencies on the Jewish state should be alarming to all.
I also am the author of the Frank Wolf International Religious Freedom Act, which also provides a great push for all religious bias and prejudice and hate.
And frankly, it doesn't make any sense why we would give them HIMARS, and just because this system goes a little bit further, somehow we say, 'Oh, there's some red line here that we cannot give this system to them.'
Because the American public and our NATO allies are not going to be able to continue to sustain funding Ukraine year after year after year after year.
It is more important than ever that we develop strong relationships with our allies in Latin America, based on mutual respect, fair commerce, and a shared commitment to security and human rights.
I believe, frankly, it is insane to look at modern warfare and not say that air power is critical.
To fight this evil that has been perpetuated by Russia and Vladimir Putin, it is something that we better do collectively for all, for democracy's sake, for sovereignty of territory's sake.
It is in America's interest, in our citizens' interest, in our economy's interest to see Ukraine victorious and ejecting Putin from its sovereign United Nations recognized borders.
I support that. And I think that the EU and their neighbors in the neighborhood with the most at stake, other than Ukraine, should pony up and pay the bill.
The worst thing we could do for our own security, is drive our Latin American neighbors into the arms of our adversaries.
