As Representative McCaul mentioned, that was an important 9/11 Commission Act recommendation.

Yet I believe that the most fitting memorial we could make to those who were lost that day is to continue doing everything humanly possible to ensure that the tragedy which took their lives never happens again.

Let me just say that 10 years after the tragic events, this is certainly, in my judgment, a good news story.

I have to commend and applaud you for your efforts.

I just want to end with a general question, and that is, you know, I was Chief of Counterterrorism at Justice for a while.

Of course, my opinion is the hijackers came from a certain part of the world, and our intelligence assets overseas are in those areas.

So it's the individual. You know that's the individual with the card.

As a Texan, it looks like that you are being unfair with Texas and that this Administration is playing unfair with the State of Texas.

I think it is a shame for an Administration official to make a smart-aleck remark like that when real people are in jeopardy of losing their jobs.

I do think that if we are treated differently, there is--I understand your position, but I do think it smacks of unfairness.

EPA may not be in the business of creating jobs, but with more than nine percent unemployment, it certainly should not be in the business of destroying them either.

I want to assure Ms. McCarthy not to worry--Americans are not getting that impression.
