It is astounding. Why? Has DHS explained to you why they have stopped providing this kind of information?

I don't believe they are in an offensive mode right now to attack us just because we are here, but I think they are positioning themselves to be able to do that if they view it as necessary.

It is unacceptable that 15 percent of the military's semiconductor chips are coming--well, not only foreign countries but counterfeit.

I see it as just a common-sense issue that I hope perhaps we can work together to change this policy.

The one thing in this proposal I disagree with is the regulating over the private sector.

I think the first principle that we have, particularly in this area, in Congress is to do no harm.

I think as you point out, Mr. Williams, I agree with the breach-notification law. It really cries out for National Federal law.

I hope that Congress considers and passes it soon.

Passing this bill into law will go a long way towards establishing a comprehensive protection and response plan to a WMD attack.

We must find the funding in the Federal budget to ensure that these programs are fully funded.

The idea that the report required by law... would not include information about proliferation of weapons of mass destruction to me is a woefully inadequate report.

I applaud our Government's efforts, but more has to be done.
