If Russia refuses to honor its moral and legal obligations to compensate Ukraine to help them rebuild, other countries can--and should--seize Russia's sovereign assets and transfer them to Ukraine.

U.S. leadership is absolutely essential. We are here to provide that leadership.

This really is a simple process, a simple matter. Russia broke it, they ought to pay for it.

We must be willing to put them on notice that they will not act with impunity.

I want to commend the efforts made by Chairman Green and this committee in investigating Mayorkas' dereliction of duty.

The grief and pain they bear is soul-crushing, especially since these deaths could have been prevented by simply enforcing the laws we had on the books.

It is a lie to say fentanyl only comes through the ports of entry.

Mayorkas' DHS operation has created transportation assistance for human trafficking and a massive new era of human slavery in America.

While impeachment is an extraordinary measure, it is absolutely necessary when faced with a Cabinet Secretary who willfully acts in subversion of the confines of Congressional authority and the letter of the law.

Secretary Mayorkas has failed the American people. Keeping him in this role will continue to put Americans in danger.

We must secure the border. We must stop this massive influx of illegal immigration, human trafficking, fentanyl trafficking.

But we saw how quickly Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats put a border wall around the Capitol, right, but they do not work.

We have to deal with a legal immigration system that is fundamentally broken.

This is an absolute disgrace. This problem can be solved very simply. Secure the damn border.

If fully funded our Nation would be able to hire 1,300 additional law enforcement officers at our southern border.

As a first-generation American, I know the importance of legal immigration to our Nation.

It's going to take an all hands on deck all of government approach and I am ready to roll up my sleeves.

This Congress must get the emergency resources that DHS has asked for and the CBP agents on the front lines desperately need.

I believe the Trump Administration did get it wrong. Their approach was inhumane and ultimately ineffective.

But managing our border effectively and humanely is a collective responsibility, Republicans and Democrats working together.
