I don't think Executive orders are the way to go, I think we should do it legislatively.

Any TikTok or ByteDance data that is viewed, stored, or passes through China is subject to the laws of China, a one-party, authoritarian state hostile to all American standards of privacy.

I fear TikTok will grow into a much bigger problem--a cancer, if you will.

But according to an article in today's Wall Street Journal--quoting here--'China's Commerce Ministry said Thursday that a sale or divestiture of TikTok will involve exporting technology [that has] to be approved by the Chinese Government.'

There is a difference of opinion on what it does to the downstream effects of innovation.
