I thank the gentleman for his work on these issues. I thank him for always being willing to be involved in these. These are tough problems. These are complex problems. You know, the activity today, I referred to it earlier today on a radio show as the Blair House project, not to be confused with the Blair Witch project. There were times when it did seem to be that there probably were some spells being cast. The other thing that really had to strike you in watching the discussion today is that there are fundamental differences as to the role in government, fundamental differences as to the involvement in government. {time} 2045 You know you can't help but be struck. Here we've worked on this concept now for 13 months. The President was sworn in the 20th of January of last year. Here we are at the end of February, and still no bill is across the finish line. Boy, I thought it would have happened much, much more quickly. In fact, had the energy that was put into the stimulus bill been put into a health care bill, in all likelihood they could have passed whatever they wanted in February of last year. Instead, they chose to work on the stimulus first and then cap-and- trade and then gradually, gradually, gradually, their capital bled away to where they did not have the votes necessary on their side to pass one of these bills.…
