Today the Nation's Congress passed the Civil Rights Act of 1968. This is a victory for every American.
I deeply believe that this Nation will continue to play its part in helping to protect and to develop the New Asia.
In the coming months, I am going to do everything within my power to try to bring that about and to make that possible.
We are back in touch with Hanoi and discussing a number of alternative locations which could be convenient to both sides...
