We want to make our Capital City a showcase for the entire Nation.
Washington should become--in every sense--a model city.
So, not as partisans, not as Democrats, and not as Republicans, but only and always as Americans let us look to the good...
Our work is not done until that answer is found, even if the process requires years of our lives.
