It is the living and the eternal theme of the United States of America--a Nation that has been made great by an infusion and mingling of all the cultures of the world.

It is a delight to come back to San Antonio and to see so many friendly and familiar faces.

Sometimes it is your job to go out and scout the road, to encounter and overcome the difficulties that always accompany such a vast new venture as this.

I call upon them to cooperate fully with the Secretaries of Commerce and State in this important work.
