Madam Speaker, again, Mr. Altmire is owed a great debt of thanks. When my friend from Tennessee said this was a bipartisan bill, apparently it's the most bipartisan bill ever brought before the House. It's wonderful that a group like the American Legion could bring us together, and I appreciate Mr. Altmire's efforts in doing that. I would urge my colleagues to support its passage. The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from Texas (Mr. Gohmert) that the House suspend the rules and pass the bill, S. 1639. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the bill was passed. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
