I do appreciate the amendment. For those who are familiar with serving in the service, you know that it is not only those that wear the uniform that serve, the spouses do serve. The families serve. I think this is a very thoughtful amendment, and I would encourage others to support it as well.
Gohmert highlights the importance of military families in supporting the amendment.

I can't help but wonder if by keeping a mask on and keeping it in place that if I might have put some germs, some of the virus onto the mask and breathed it in.
