With that kind of money at stake, it is pretty clear why the tobacco industry can afford to lavish such giant campaign contributions on this Congress. And it is also pretty clear that the type of addiction that is at stake here is not just the addiction of our young people to nicotine, but the addiction of some of the leadership around this place to that kind of tobacco campaign money.
