The Republican economist who did that simulation on these various privatization schemes, his conclusion was that no group in our society would be a bigger loser than women, and that it did not make any difference, well, it makes a difference in degree, I guess, but regardless of income class, regardless of race, regardless of marital status, because of the factors that the two of you have just been describing, women will lose more than any other part of our society if we reject the Social Security system that has served us so well and go off with some of these ideological experiments.
