And I know the gentleman and Dr. McDermott will remember that when Republicans put out their big strategy, their PR plan on Medicare. They told their own Members, do not use the word ``improve,'' because that is going to raise expectations that we might really do something to help seniors. They were supposed to use other words to create the impression that there was some immediate crisis, which there is not, that there was some immediate danger of bankruptcy, which there is not. There is the need for long-term, bipartisan planning. But the only bankruptcy we face today is the kind of political bankruptcy they have when they insist on letting Medicare wither on the vine.
