And, indeed, they are barely living on the minimum wage. And to top it all off, the Chair of the Republican Conference, the gentleman from Ohio [Mr. Boehner], said, ``I will commit suicide before I vote on a clean minimum-wage bill.'' That is what this is all about. It is do anything, do everything possible in order to thwart the desire of the American people for a raise.”
