I am proud of and excited about the work that we have done together and the things that we have accomplished in the previous Water Resources Development Acts.

Thank you very much, and thanks to Chairman Latta and Ranking Member Matsui for convening today's hearing.

To make our communities safer and more resilient through infrastructure investment; and two, to support economic growth through infrastructure investment.

I urge the Corps to continue its focus and complete this study so it can move forward with a project that aligns with community objectives.
