The gentleman from Ohio [Mr. Stokes], who in fact at one time was chairman of this committee and was a member of the Iran-Contra Committee, we understand there is a letter on its way to the committee from Mr. Stokes requesting that he be granted access to documents during the time he served as chairman to further investigate part of the Iran-Contra papers. I have discussed this with Mr. Dicks and we have, are going to take that up with the where the committee would have to vote to approve that. The committee will have absolutely no objection to that and will take that up this afternoon at a hearing at 2:00, assuming that we have that letter. So we are trying to move as expeditiously as possible to help Mr. Stokes in his inquiries as well.
