The President of the United States needs to exercise his executive authority, cut through the red tape, and order these agencies to get it done.

I believe strongly in the capability and dedication of the defense acquisition team.

He has the executive authority to cut through all this red tape, bureaucratic red tape. We're being held hostage down here, hostage to the oil and hostage to incompetent, cumbersome federal bureaucracy.

I mean, the president came down and said we're going to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes, but the action hasn't met his words or his promises.
