legislation like the LNG Permitting Certainty and Transparency Act that passed the House back in January which helps America harness our natural energy abundance by requiring DOE by law to act on pending LNG export applications in a timely fashion is so very much needed and important.

I am a little bit skeptical if we are doing this simply because we don't like natural gas power, we don't like coal power, we don't like nuclear power, because that would be an added cost that somebody's got to bear.
I think it's good to have this and I think it's very good that we try to work to tighten up and, as the gentlelady just said, let's determine what the real intent is and then legislate accordingly.
