Mr. Speaker, on Tuesday, December 15th, I am not recorded on any votes because I was absent due to family reasons. If I had been present, I would have voted: ``Yea'', on rollcall 694, passage of H. Res. 536--Supporting freedom of the press in Latin America and the Caribbean and condemning violations of press freedom and violence against journalists, bloggers, and individuals exercising their right to freedom of speech.
