I assured the Prime Minister that we will continue to keep pressure on Mr. Arafat to convince him that he must take serious, concrete, real steps to reduce terrorist activity in the Middle East.

They knew their duty.

Our Government is absolutely committed to fighting terror, and we expect people to join us in doing so.

It is always and everywhere wrong to target and kill the innocent.

We, too, of course, support a Palestinian state, one that's been negotiated by the parties.

Faith gives the assurance that our lives and our history have a moral design.
