George W. Bush is the 43rd President of the United States, serving from January 20, 2001, to January 20, 2009. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the Governor of Texas from January 17, 1995, until December 21, 2000. His presidency was marked by significant events, including the September 11 attacks in 2001 and the subsequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush's domestic policies included tax cuts, education reform, and Medicare prescription drug benefits.
This President is committed to leading and acting decisively to address our nation's highest priorities.
The program would allow workers who currently hold jobs to come out of hiding and participate legally in America's economy while not encouraging further illegal behavior.

I do not support amnesty because individuals who violate America's laws should not be rewarded for illegal behavior.
Temporary workers will be able to establish their identities by obtaining the legal documents that we all take for granted.
The program must also meet the Nation's economic needs and live up to the promise and values of America.
You find excellence where you're willing to measure and then correct when things aren't going the way they should.
I hereby find that the furnishing of defense articles and services to the RSS will strengthen the security of the United States and promote world peace.
