The United States will target technical assistance and focus international attention on building capacity to detect, prosecute, and recover the proceeds of high-level public corruption.
Our objective is to defeat high-level public corruption in all its forms and to deny corrupt officials access to the international financial system as a means of defrauding their people and hiding their ill-gotten gains.
I understand both parties aren't going to agree with all aspects of the resolution.
The intention of the resolution is to make sure that we address the root cause.
We must not create a vacuum into which Hizballah and its sponsors are able to move more weapons.
