Precisely because America is powerful, we must be sensitive about expressing our power and influence.

He is counting on a greater turnout by Hispanics to put him over the top.

We're moving America forward and we're not turning back.

When it comes to creating jobs, for American workers, we are turning the corner and we're not going back.

But whatever happened to the president's promise, We're turning the corner?

He knows the CIA inside and out. He's the right man to lead this important agency at this critical moment in our nation's history.

We actually misnamed the war on terror. It ought to be the -- the struggle against ideological extremists who do not believe in free societies, who happen to use terror as a weapon, to try to shake the conscious of the free world.

The economy this last summer has grown at a rate as fast as any in nearly 20 years. In the last year we've added about 1.5 million new jobs, the unemployment rate is down to 5.5 percent.

We've got more to do. I'm not going to be satisfied until everybody who wants to work can find a job.

We're not turning back.

The Bush campaign is distancing itself from a new ad by a group of Vietnam vets. The ad accuses Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry of lying about his war record.

Those who claim that America's war on terror is to blame for terror threats against the United States have a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of the enemy.

Now when you're convincing them who to vote for, don't overlook discerning Democrats and wise independents. When you get them headed toward the poll, nudge them our way.

Today I'm asking Congress to create the position of a national intelligence director.

It is a ridiculous notion to assert that because the United States is on the offense, more people want to hurt us. We're on the offense because people do want to hurt us.

When we are a nation in danger, we're doing everything we can in our power to confront the danger.

If we were just silent on the subject, I think, I think it, people would be a lot more nervous.

They're going to raise your taxes. We're not. We have a clear vision on how to win the war on terror and bring peace to the world. They somehow believe the heart and soul of America can be found in Hollywood.

In his weekly radio address, Mr. Bush focused on the war on terror. He says his administration has already put into place many of the 9/11 commission recommendations to make the U.S. safer.

Does the Democrat Party take African-American voters for granted? I know plenty of politicians assume they have your vote. But do they earn it? And do they deserve it?

I'm here to ask for your vote.

I want to be the peace president.

This country is a peaceful country. Now we're marching to peace. The world is becoming more peaceful. Free societies are peaceful societies. See, he is a partner in peace. The next four years will be peaceful years.

I look forward to studying their recommendations and look forward to working with responsible parties within my administration to move forward on those recommendations.
