George H.W. Bush was the 41st President of the United States, serving from January 20, 1989, to January 20, 1993. A member of the Republican Party, he previously held the office of Vice President under Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1989. Bush was a World War II veteran and served in various roles within the U.S. government, including as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1976 to 1977. His presidency is noted for significant events such as the Gulf War and the fall of the Berlin Wall, as well as his efforts in foreign policy and international diplomacy.
Even George Bush said we were addicted to oil. And we've all got to accept that.
Think about how much they must have loved this country, how they believed in its dreams. It's an astounding devotion. It's in a league by itself.
We would like to end the Guantanamo. We'd like it to be empty. And we're now in the process of working with countries to repatriate people. But there are some that if put out on the streets would create grave harm to American citizens…
He thought then-candidate Obama had no clue about the world and isn't remotely qualified to handle the job.
Just wait until a few days until the bloom is off the rose. This woman is being put into a position she's not even remotely prepared for.
You know, she's not prepared, and her family is not prepared for the national media spotlight that they're about to be immersed in.
He had a very human reaction. And presidents have human reactions, and he was basically ticked off.
