Thank you, Chairman DeFazio, and Ranking Member Graves, for holding today's hearing on our nation's transportation workers.

I look forward to hearing from our witnesses on the health of the general aviation system and learning what we can do to help support the industry.

Ultimately, however, we will need to enact policy to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.

We want people who are intellectually curious, I think, to get those people and get them into the field.
