I look forward to hearing from our witnesses on the health of the general aviation system and learning what we can do to help support the industry.

Last month, I introduced and withdrew an amendment, at the request of Chairman Lucas, that incapsulates my legitimate concerns on the disparate impacts AI technologies have on people that look like me.

Democrats, with very little help from our Republican colleagues, passed the largest transportation and infrastructure bill in history.

I would just encourage the Secretary and the leadership at DOT to stay focused on ensuring that these funds are getting out to local communities as quickly as possible.
