Now is simply not the time to take a hatchet to federally funded R&D and STEM education.

I am worried for our country and for my own grandchildren and what kind of opportunities they will have in the future.

I agree that we do need to look at ways to improve the environmental review process for highway projects.

We need to find out why completing and reviewing environmental studies has taken so many years.
