I encourage you all, if we can address the issues of Section 163 and not make it binding where it will be illegal for me to communicate in an official capacity with my constituency, I would encourage you to fix that or vote this bill down.
If same day registration results in greater voter participation, which at the end of the day we are all together on that, it is worth the effort.
As well we should reject any last minute legislation that has not been fully reviewed by the Congress.
I think it is important for the sake of trust just in government and the election process and such that what you do to the extent that can be public is transparent.
