Again, I urge my colleagues to oppose this bill. The gentleman on the other side of the aisle, Mr. Johnson of Georgia, of course, indicated that it is his intent to gut the bill here. We need to defeat this amendment. Of course, Mr. Johnson is free to vote against the bill, although I belive that would be a mistake. I would urge my colleagues to not only oppose this amendment, but to support the underlying bill when we get to it. I yield back the balance of my time. The Acting CHAIR.
